This month’s box had some amazing products and some not so amazing but overall, I still loved it!  There was no clear theme, to be honest I think they’re just sending whatever’s new instead of revolving around a theme.  Personally, I prefer a theme but I still love that I’m getting all these new products!

What’s Inside:

Endless Eyes Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette – Limited Edition in Everyday, $10

Eye Blending Brush, $3

I love this brush for using a highlighter and putting it on my cheekbones and eyelids!  It’s the perfect size!  I kind of have a love hate relationship with this palette because the first row is like al nudes and I love all those, then there’s the second row which is similar to the Naked 3 with all the rose shades, then there’s the third, which has all grays and blacks for a smokey.  But then there’s this out-of-place color row.  I know a lot of people love color on their eyes but personally I don’t like it on myself.  So I love the first two rows, the second and third are alright and the fourth I won’t use.  I would’ve rather gotten the Natural shades, I would have used those every single day!  All three are currently out of stock but they will be restocked soon… I hope.

This was multiple streaks of each shade. Some are better pigmented than others (the shimmer shades were much better). Although they aren’t too great, they are a bit better with a brush and even better wet.  You can see the rest of the palette in this shot, the top row has great shades.  The packaging I think, is some of e.l.f. Studio’s cheaper looking packaging with the clear bits on the closure and the top.  I am a huge fan of their solid black matte packaging and this was a little disappointing.

Glossy Gloss in Berry Blush, $3

Mineral Lipstick in , $5

I really love these two My Lips But Better Shades.   The gloss is similar to a bare minerals gloss I have and the lipstick is very similar to one I got I think in December but I still use them all the time.  Some lip glosses smell like plastic but this one smells of marshmallows which I really love.  This lipstick is a great matte shade but you can make it even more matte by using a cheap oil blotting sheet!

Volumizing and Defining Mascara in Black, $2

Although this is only the second mascara I’ve gotten in this box, I have 5 going now and about 10 to use after those.  Somehow I have accumulated all this mascara and I’m not sure how fast I’m going to get through it all!  But I love the flexibility of this brush!  The brush seems a bit clumpy but I’ll make it work.  It looks like this is already out of stock but e.l.f. tends to restock really fast so keep checking!

Eyeliner & Shadow Stick in Plum/Purple, $3

elf shadow eyeliner stick

On one end, there’s a dull purple shadow stick and on the other there’s a dark purple eyeliner.  Both are long-lasting and good quality but the color is not something I would use too often.  It’s funny, my sister, my mom and I all acquired purple eyeliner in the course of 3 days unintentionally!

The swatch on the left is the eyeliner and the right is the purple shadow.  I will use the eyeliner more than the shadow because of the brightness of the eyeliner’s color!  I am not a huge fan of purple so i would’ve preferred the shade brown/basic which I would have gotten a lot more use out of.

Shimmering Facial Whip in Lilac Petal, $1

IMG_4733

This is one of my favorite items I got.  I mix this with my foundation nearly every day and t gives a really subtle glow.  It also looks great mixed with my under eye concealer!  This shade has just been restocked so I’d get it fast if you want one!

Essential Nail Polish in Mint Cream, $2

I love that e.l.f. nail polishes are 3-free but their scent is SO strong.  This color is more of a winter for me so I’ll save it until then.  It is quite muted but it’s pretty color, just not my favorite.

Skincare Soothing Serum, $12

Studio Daily Brush Cleaner, $3

elf serum and brush cleaner

I use this serum every night as my night cream and it smells so nice and hasn’t upset my skin!  By the way, this is huge!  Also, there’s an awesome pump so it’s super easy to measure how much you use every night and use a consistent amount. This is part of their new skincare line which has moisturizers and eye gels, etc.

This brush cleaner is my favorite for every day because you don’t need to get the brush wet at all!  Spray this on and wipe it on a paper towel or tissue until it’s nearly clean and you can go ahead and use it as soon as it’s dry!  This is the only one I’ve found that you don’t have to rinse the brush after!  And it smells so good!  Usually they don’t smell so great but this one is awesome!  I really love the line art on this bottle as well!  Since I’ve gotten this, I’ve gotten a bottle for my friend and my sister!

Total: $44

This box had mostly amazing products and some not so amazing.  I really loved half the palette, the brush, the serum, brush cleaner,  facial whip, gloss and lipstick, and mascara.  But the nail polish, the shadow/eyeliner stick and the other half of the palette weren’t great.  All it was was just wrong colors which is understandable.  I would definitely go buy other shades of those products (maybe not the nail polish) but the shades I received weren’t my favorite.
