Late Face

Hello Lovelies!  Sometimes we wake up a few minutes late or hit the snooze button a few too many times and we get a little off schedule in the morning.  Of course, with the shorter amount of time to get ready, you need to shorten your entire routine, especially makeup, because we all tend to take our sweet time when we can.

I did a post similar to this a while back called Do Your Makeup in 10 Minutes or Less but I thought I do a different version of it so here it is!

By the way, these are my favorite foundations, especially the Rimmel Match Perfection which I got recently.  The Rimmel Wake Me Up is best to look awake for days when you (feel like you) look like a zombie but Match Perfection is a go-to, every day foundation with a range of tones and undertones.  L’Oreal True Match is great but the color doesn’t match me exactly, none of them really did unfortunately but I love the formula!

What you’ll need:

Your favorite, no-fail foundation and primer

A concealer for both blemishes and under eye

A blush/highlighter (a two in one product preferably)

Powder

Lip Balm

Mascara

How you’ll do it:

First begin by mixing your foundation and primer together to save time and layers.  By no-fail foundation, I mean the one you always go to that matches your skin tone and doesn’t get a weird texture some days, it always works and you won’t have to start over after beginning to apply it.  Apply your foundation with your fingers or a sponge (I think these are the fastest way to get even coverage because brushes can easily get streaky). After foundation blend a bit of concealer under your eyes to cover any dark circles and anywhere else on blemishes.

Next apply your blush/highlighter to the apples of your cheeks lightly to give you a natural glow.  Next powder your face with a loose powder and a large brush to keep your makeup in place throughout the day.  Finish with a swipe of mascara and lip balm.

This makeup look can be solely your “late face” or you can wear it daily as you’re beginning to get into makeup.  The no-makeup look has been popular on the runways so you can wear it as a makeup trend if you like.

What are your go-to, no-fail products?  Let me know!

xoxo
