Hello lovelies! I spent quite a bit just after Easter at Ulta to celebrate the end of my no-buy since I had a 20% off of everything, including prestige! I was planning on buying the Lorac Upzipped Gold palette but I realized that it had zero staying power and I didn’t need to spend that much on a product that wasn’t 100%. Let’s get started on what I did buy!
Revlon Colorstay Undereye Concealer in 601: This is one of those twist-up concealers. I have noticed that it doesn’t brighten and cover my dark circles as much as my Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous, but for $1.00 on clearance, I couldn’t say no. It’s quite a small package so it won’t last long but can you really say no to a $1.00 concealer? I can’t. It also says that it stays up to 16 hours which I believe is partially true, about 10 or so which is as long as I need.
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in Blonde: This is basically a mascara that is tinted to fill in and keep your brows in place. It is a bit lighter than I anticipated but if I use a spoolie brush it doesn’t look too “wet” or light. The brush is bigger than I thought but it still works well.
Maybelline MasterConceal Concealer in 20: This concealer is supposed to be extremely pigmented but it is basically just another concealer in terms of coverage. I do love how well it blends and matches though which is worth it for me! I got this for around $5.50 with my coupon!
Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Eye Shadow Stick: Instead of getting the Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette I got 4 eye shadow sticks. 3 ScandalEyes and 1 Kate Moss. I tried to get one shadow stick for every 2 similar colors on the palette. First I got 002 Bulletproof Beige, which is a beautiful light gold shimmer shade which is perfect for all over the lid for a bit of brightening! This is my go-to shade every day! Next I got 015 Trespassing Taupe which is a matte taupe shade that is beautiful in the crease! Lastly I got 003 Bad Girl Bronze which is a dark brown shimmer that is great for giving my eyes some depth.
Rimmel Kate Moss Waterproof Eye Shadow Stick in 100 Rose Gold: I got this one for a fun color, although it is very orange-y. I use this to give my eyes some nice color and make my eyes look crazy blue!
In total I got these for around $20, whereas the palette would’ve been around $35 so i saved some money!
Left to Right: Bulletproof Beige, Trespassing Taupe, Bad Girl Bronze, Rose Gold.
Ulta Makeup Brush Cleanser: It is such a pain to deep clean my makeup brushes so I bought this to use every two or three days to spray this and some water then get all the makeup off with a tissue. It smells pretty nice which is always an extra plus. At $2.90, this was something I was glad to get for myself.
Benefit POREfessional License to Blot: I got this to help with my insanely oily skin. I was worried that this would pick up and remove my makeup but it didn’t! It literally eats up all the oil on my face and evens out my makeup! It’s triangle shaped so it fits better with the contours of your face. For example, this fits perfectly on the sides on nose, which is where I need it most. If I wake up and my skin is super oily, I use a bit under my makeup then bring it along to touch up throughout the day, but you can use it alone or over your makeup! I am very happy with this and I’m glad I got it. I got this for $16.00 with the Ulta coupon I had.
Cristophe Dry Conditioner: I am not the biggest fan of the scent of this stuff but it sure does rehydrate my hair! I have to be careful because it sprays out crazy crazy fast and hydrates a lot. I probably won’t be repurchasing this after I’m finished because of the scent but it was about $0.97 so I couldn’t not try it!
essence dual-sided pencil sharpener: I got this for the 4 new pencils I got because I realized that I didn’t have a sharpener for them and eventually I would need one. This was $2.00 and so far has served it’s purpose.
That’s all for today! What recent purchases have you splurged on? Do you have anything I got? Let me know!
